Two things others wouldn't tell you

1. Zinc leaves a slight white cast.
That's physics, not a flaw. That exact layer is what reflects the UV radiation. The current formula whitens noticeably less than before and spreads well. On the body you barely see anything, on the face just a hint.
2. The best sun protection is still free.
Shade, clothing, morning sun instead of midday sun. Your skin needs to adjust gradually, not constant exposure. The Sunbalm is for the spots that get sun anyway: forehead, nose, shoulders, collarbone.

Is the Sunbalm suitable for children?
Yes. In our experience, sensitive children's skin tolerates it very well, and many families share one jar. Non-nano zinc oxide stays on the skin instead of absorbing in. For babies under 12 months, as always: avoid direct sun as much as possible.
Is it water-resistant?
The beeswax makes it water-resistant, so it can handle a jump into the lake too. One customer even uses it while kitesurfing. Still, reapply after towelling off — that goes for any sunscreen, by the way.
What does it smell like?
Subtly earthy with a light coconut note. No added fragrance, no chemical smell. Our tallow is filtered in several stages and is nearly odourless.
How long does one jar last?
